How to Play your Favorite Radio Stations on BlackBerry 10 Device

BlackBerry started rolling out the update for OS 10.2.1 late January. The update bought some of the most requested features to the OS 10. Some of these features were the ability to pinch in to the Hub, ability to turn battery percentage on and the most important one, ability to directly install .apk files instead of
having to sideload them via an external process.

However, one feature that did not get a lot of traction was that OS 10.2.1 update also bought the ability to play FM Radio on your BB 10 devices. This feature is not available for BlackBerry Z10 as it’s hardware does not support FM. Apart from that though, there is support for the likes of Z30, Q10 and Q5. Tuning into FM Radio station is very easy if you have the update installed, just follow the steps below:

Step 1) Open the Music App on your BlackBerry 10 device.

Step 2) You will see a Radio tab at the bottom of the player, click on that.

Step 3) Make sure you have wired headphones inserted in your device as they act as the receivers for the signal.

Step 4) When you use the app for the first time, allow it enough time to scan through the radio stations and once set, from second time, the initialization process would be much faster.
