Samsung Launches GalaxyS And Wave Phones In India


Samsung launched its high end smart phones Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy yesterday in Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi, India. The phone has been launched by the Samsung Brand Ambassador Mr. Aamir Khan. In the
event Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director – Mobile & IT, Samsung Electronics and Mr. J S Shin, President & CEO, Samsung South West Asia were also present.
According to Mr. Shin, the basic difference between two phones are their operating systems. Samsung Wave is based on BADA operating system, also it is first BADA based operating system phone (Note: BADA is Samsung’s proprietary open operating system, BADA means “ocean” in Korean). Apart from Wave, company launched its second high range phone known as Samsung Galaxy which runs on Android operating system.


 Samsung Galaxy is loaded with lots of features. It is Android based phone, having 1 GHZ processor. It comes with AMOLED screen due to which it is brighter than normal phones.


Samsung Wave is also equipped with 1GHz processor and Super AMOLED screen. Also it is the world’s first DivX HD certified phone. Both the phones are equipped with plenty of apps and you can also download other useful apps free of cost.

According to Samsung Officials, price of Wave will be Rs. 18000 and price of Samsung Galaxy will be Rs. 31000.
