Samsung Galaxy S III Can Be Rooted on All Carriers

It was only a matter of time since Samsung already released the source code for the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint versions of the Galaxy S III. These source codes allow creative and skilled Samsung Galaxy S III users to experiment as well as to root their beloved Samsung smartphone in order to allow installations of custom ROMs, apps, and a lot more. Now, we are very glad to know that all three Samsung Galaxy S III are now officially rooted. More details after the jump.

Well, hands down to XDA member howtomen, cyper_zero, and dawgslayer69 for rooting the Samsung Galaxy S III on AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile respectively. Anyways, if you were thinking to root access your beloved Android smartphone, then you will need to have the latest version of Odin in order to flash the kernel and ClockworkMod Recovery onto your beloved device. Then just wait for the ClockworkMod Revcovery to flash root. There’s not much difference in rooting procedure, but interestingly enough, the T-Mobile and Sprint procedure is the identical.

However, you should be noted that rooting (or jailbreaking for the iOS) will automatically void the warranty of your device. And yes, the store and carrier will know if you root access your device if you want to have a warranty repair or replacement. Additionally, Google is also all set to unveil / release the latest version of their Android operating system – the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – which means the exploit that was utilized to root access the Galaxy S III will be patched and you need to wait for a new rooting method / tool in order to root your device on the latest firmware.
