A new jailbreak tweak has been launched that includes three great features that make your iOS device better. Archangel is the tweak we are talking about, this new tweak available in Cydia has three features:
* Tether Guardian
* Download Alerter
* Power Manager
Unlike most Cydia tweaks, Archangel comes with three features packed into one tweak that enable you to perform multiple tasks. The three features include Tether Guardian, Download Alerter and Power Manager which allows you to enable/disable any of those whenever you want. Tether Guardian prevents you from rebooting your device if you’re on a tethered jailbreak which I think is the most important tweak for a user with tethered jailbreak but on the other hand the user can also update to 5.1.1 and then jailbreak untethered which is now possible with absinthe 2. When you slide to power off the device, instead of a reboot the phone will re spring.
Download Alerter is very similar to the Download Reminder tweak and reminds you when App Store apps have finished downloading. Power Manager gives you access to quick links such as respring, reboot, power off and Google, when you hold down the power button.
To install this tweak you need to follow the steps given below:
* Open Cydia on your jailbroken iphone.
* Let the data load.
* Once the data is loaded go to search and type in “archangel”.
* It’s free in the BigBoss repo.
* Select it
* Install it.
* Respring or reboot your device.
* You are done to use it.
