A new Kickstarter project launched by Portland-based company Trygger aims to fix the problem with the Camera Case, a case that features a polarizing filter similar to one found on a professional camera.

“The Camera Case has a built in polarizing filter to cut out glare and unwanted reflections and actually makes your colors more vibrant and your contrast sharper,” the company notes via its Kickstarter page. “It makes the world through your phone look more like the world you see through your eyes.”

he filter is adjustable, so users can also decide how much light they want to enter the iPhone’s lens. This will give iPhone photographers more control over the pictures they shoot.

Kickstarter supporters who pledge $35 or more will receive the final product ($49.95 retail price) once it’s made. The Camera Case is just $5,000 shy of its $25,000 goal with 22 days left to go
